Donors support OWVA's charitable purposes.

After regular meetings with several past supporters of OWVA's charitable programs, OWVA received several large contributions totaling more than $130,000.00 since January 2008.

"OWVA's financial goal for 2008 is to raise $1,500,000.00 toward several projects, including development of programs in support of families of Oregon national Guard (ORNG) members who will be deployed in 2008 and 2009 to Iraq- for 12-15 months," reported executive director Greg Warnock, to doors in a recent email.  "I am confident that Oregonians will rally to assist us as we prepare for the two deployments over the next 12 months", he continued.

Since 2002, OWVA has raised more than $300,000.00 in contributions toward their charitable purposes, with most of the funds being raised since 2006.

OWVA's Directors will make their first required IRS tax form 990 (2006) available on their website at www.owva.org sometime in May, 2008, in an effort toward show the public that OWVA is a great investment in charitable support to vets and members of Oregon's military family.
